Kristi (Herdman) Schlatter has resided in the Lake Township area almost her entire life. Kristi and her husband, Mark Schlatter, have family roots in the Arcola and Huntertown areas that extend over five generations. Kristi and Mark are both graduates of Carroll High School (1991 and 1990 respectively). She graduated from Purdue University (1996) with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Kristi has taught middle school and high school mathematics. She has also been a substitute teacher, served with the PTO, volunteered in the classroom, and has tutored students.
Kristi and her family reside on a small farm near Arcola. She is the mother of four school-aged children who attend Arcola Elementary, Carroll Middle School, and Carroll High School. Kristi and her family attend Crossview Church, in Grabill Indiana. She enjoys cheering on her children in their extra-curricular activities, volunteering at church and in the community, sharing time with family and friends, and exploring nature and the outdoors.Kristi has had several opportunities in the past to serve in leadership both professionally and personally. She is honored for the opportunity to serve and invest in the NACS community through this role as a school board trustee. She will join the school board efforts to facilitate excellence in education for each student, by supporting and encouraging both students and staff in our NACS family. Kristi desires to give back to the community that has given so much to her.Township Represented: Lake
