REGULAR MEETING

The Northwest Allen County Board of School Trustees met in regular session on Monday, October 27, 2014 in the Central Office Board Room. Members present: Mary Wysong, John Hilger, Paul Sloffer, Ron Felger and Kent Somers. Also present: Chris Himsel, Gloria Shamanoff, Bill Mallers, Lisa Harris, staff, and a reporter.

Motions herewith mentioned are unanimous unless otherwise stated.

President Mary Wysong called the meeting to order. Motion to approve the minutes of the October 13, 2014 executive session and regular meeting as presented by Paul Sloffer; seconded by Ron Felger. Motion carried.

Kate Johanningsmeier, Hickory Center Principal, requested permission to accept a donation from the Hickory Center PTO in the amount of $750.00 to be used for staff professional development. BUSINESS REPORT

A. RESOLUTION APPROVING REFUNDING Recommended enclosed resolution approving refunding for the refunding of the 2005 bond issue. Motion to approve by John Hilger; seconded by Kent Somers. Motion carried.

B. RESOLUTION APPROVING FORM OF AMENDMENT TO LEASE Recommended enclosed resolution approving form of amendment to lease for the refunding of the 2005 bond issue. Motion to approve by Paul Sloffer; seconded by Kent Somers. Motion carried.

C. CAPITAL PROJECTS EMERGENCY RESOLUTION Recommended approval of the enclosed Capital Projects Emergency Resolution for $7,749.00. Motion to approve by Ron Felger; seconded by John Hilger. Motion carried.

D. CORPORATION PURCHASES Building Corporation Purchases $109,733.00. Motion to approve by Paul Sloffer; seconded by John Hilger. Motion carried.

E. CORPORATION PAYMENTS Building Corporation Payments - $36,521.20 Motion to approve by Kent Somers; seconded by Ron Felger. Motion carried.
