REGULAR MEETING

The Northwest Allen County Board of School Trustees met in regular session on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Central Office Board Room. Members present: Ron Felger, Kent Somers, Paul Sloffer, Liz Hathaway and John Hilger. Also present: Chris Himsel, Gloria Shamanoff, Bill Mallers, Lisa Harris, staff, and reporters.

Motions herewith mentioned are unanimous unless otherwise stated.

President Ron Felger called the meeting to order. Motion to approve the minutes of the November 9, 2015 regular meeting by Paul Sloffer; seconded by John Hilger. Motion carried.

PERSONNEL/COMMUNICATION

A. RESIGNATION Julie Collier, Eel River Instructional Assistant resigned as of 11/5/15. Sara Dunten, Huntertown Instructional Assistant Educational Interpreter, resigned as of 11/24/15.

A. TECHNOLOGY AUDIT PRESENTATION Dan Funston, Five-Star Technology Solutions eLearning Director, presented the results from the recent Technology Audit.

BUSINESS REPORT

A. RESOLUTION CARROLL ROAD RIGHT OF WAY Recommended the enclosed resolution to convey real estate for $4,600 to the Town of Huntertown along Carroll Road through a Warranty Deed for ten feet of right-of-way at the west entrance of Carroll High School and a Temporary Highway Easement Grant. Motion to approve by Kent Somers; seconded by Liz Hathaway. Motion carried.

B. CORPORATION PURCHASES Building Corporation Purchases - $ 14,500.00. Motion to approve by Paul Sloffer; seconded by Liz Hathaway. Motion carried.

C. CORPORATION PAYMENTS Building Corporation Payments - $ 21,002.00. Motion to approve by John Hilger; seconded by Kent Somers. Motion carried.
