Northwest Allen County Schools has partnered with Safe Hiring Solutions, Inc. to provide Background Checks on prospective employees. Background Checks include a Criminal Background Check, State Child Protection Index Check, National Sex Offender Check, and Teacher License History Check (if applicable), on a pre-employment basis as required by Indiana law.
Applicants will need to assemble important information prior to starting the Background Check process through Safe Hiring Solutions including:
- Social Security Number
- Teacher's License Number (s) and State(s) of Issue, if applicable
- Addresses, including County, of residence dating back to January 1, 1988, or your date of birth, whichever is most recent.
- Form of payment (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover)
- Cost: $28.85 for certified staff (plus $3.95 per each additional state teaching license)
- $24.90 for non-certified staff
- *Some county checks associated with the Child Protection Index Check may require an additional fee.
