Important Announcement Regarding NACS Leadership Transition

Dear, NACS Families,

We want to share an important update regarding the future leadership of Northwest Allen County Schools. At the regular board meeting on Monday, July 20, 2026, the Board of School Trustees will officially consider the appointment of Dr. Brandon Bitting as our next Superintendent, to take effect on July 1, 2027.

Following the planned retirement of Superintendent Wayne Barker next summer, Dr. Bitting and Mr. Barker will spend the upcoming 2026-2027 school year working together to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for our entire school community.
