EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Northwest Allen County Board of School Trustees met in executive session on Monday, July 13, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. in the Central Office. Members present: Ron Felger, Kent Somers, Paul Sloffer, John Hilger. Elizabeth Hathaway was absent. Also present: Chris Himsel and Gloria Shamanoff.

I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b) 5: To receive information about and interview prospective employees.

The board interviewed a prospective employee.

I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b) B: For discussion of strategy with respect to initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in writing.

Mr. Mallers joined the executive session.

Mr. Himsel presented information regarding potential litigation.

I.C. 5-15-1.5-6.1(b) A: For discussion of strategy with respect to collective bargaining.

Mr. Himsel and Mr. Mallers presented information regarding collective bargaining.

REGULAR MEETING

The Northwest Allen County Board of School Trustees met in regular session on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Central Office Board Room. A. 2015 BUS PURCHASE Recommended the purchase of eight 78-passenger IC conventional buses and one 54-passenger IC conventional special education bus from Midwest Transit Equipment for $892,738.00 through the Central Indiana Education Service Center (CIESC) Cooperative Purchasing bid program. Motion to approve by Kent Somers; seconded by Paul Sloffer. Motion carried.
