NACS Dyslexia Reporting 2020-2021

Indiana Code 20-35.5-5.2 requires all public corporations and charter schools report the following dyslexia-related data on their websites by July 15.


1.  The dyslexia intervention program used during the previous school year:

Orton-Gillingham and Heggerty Phonemic Awareness programs


2.  The number of students who received dyslexia intervention during the 2020-2021 school year = 124.

- Kindergarten = 37
- 1st Grade = 48
- 2nd Grade = 30
- 3rd Grade =   9

3.  The total number of students identified with dyslexia during the 2020-2021 school year = 59.

*Information based on the students' profile of scores, which resembled that of a dyslexic profile (e.g. deficits in phonological processing, RAN, low performance on standardized achievement measures, such as word reading, nonsense word decoding, oral reading fluency, reading comprehension and spelling).
